Plot Summary

A series of murders brings Jerusalem “Salem” Kane back to the little town in Missouri only three months after closing two separate cases there. This time a number of men who had gone missing over the course of several months are discovered in mass grave, completely drained of bodily fluid and appearing to have aged sixty to eighty years upon their death. Salem knows only one creature that could’ve done this: A Succubus. But not just any Succubus, but one that he once had a personal relationship and just happens to be the second bride of Samael, otherwise known as Lucifer. The second bride has a secret. She’s in love with Salem and is willing to renounce her bond with Samael if the wanderer will have her. Samael has a secret as well: he has resurrected his first bride and will stop at nothing to restore the balance and bring back the race of vampires upon the Earthly plane. In the second book of The Wanderer series, Salem must battle Princes of Hell, the King of Hell, and come to terms with the fact that he is in love with a creature that he believed was incapable of love.
