Plot Summary

It was Mitchel and Jacob’s last summer at bible camp, and the best friends were dreading it. But then they found the Grimoire.

Bored, the pair decide to mess about with the rituals inside. After all, it’s just harmless fun, right? Demons aren’t really, are they? But when the pair summon a succubus their lives are forever transformed...

Bible camp was how Mitchel and Jacob met. It was how they’d spent every summer of their teenage years, and now… it was almost over. This was their last summer.

They'd grown from boys to young men, and after this, they were off to college to start their adult lives. The best friends just needed to get through one last summer.

That was easier said than done though. Bible camp had always been hard for the pair, neither of them ever really fitting in with the other boys, but this year it was worse.

Everyone around them had blossomed into whole wholesome young men, while Mitchel and Jacob had… not really changed. While the other boys wanted to play sports or attend prayer meetings, the two friends were more content to hide in the old basement and read the collection of old confiscated comics and books they’d found down there.

They just wanted to get through the summer any way they could. They just wanted to stay out of the way.

Then they discovered the Grimoire. A book dedicated to demonology and magic, and one section leaps out at them. A ritual to summon a succubus.

Bored, the pair decide to conduct the ritual for fun. After all, magic isn’t real, is it? But when they summon Her they realise they’re in trouble. Especially once it becomes clear that their binding circle is flawed and the ritual is imperfect.

Soon the pair find themselves the targets of Her magic, and the consequences see their lives forever changed and transformed as they fall deeper under the influence of The Succubus Curse...

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on September 22, 2024

Mitchel and Jacob discover an ancient tomb which tell of devils and demons and far more. But it can’t be real, it’s only a game, or so they believe. A mistake made results in being punished by a succubus for their error. But as their lives are changed and the gift changes them into succubi as well, it is really a curse when it might be the greatest gift they have ever received.

The work mainly focuses on the succubus and gender transformations of the main characters with a bit of erotic encounters from time to time to add a bit of spice and heat. A fun read, the story is very light and doesn’t stray into darker themes, which I think would have taken away a lot from the story and characters. It’s very much a character development story, the transformations are not rushed, the characters have time to consider them, deal with the feelings and needs each have, and overall that’s what I felt worked the best.

The succubus who transforms the main characters is seen for but a few pages, but she leaves a strong impression both in her physical form, but more so her personality. She’s amused by them, which I dearly enjoyed, and I wish she’d had more of a presence overall. She’s never named, which was a bit of a disappointment however.

As for Mitchel and Jacob, their slow transformation into the succubi calling themselves Malphasia and Jezabeth is really well done. The shift, both mental and physical, is both erotic and captivating as things unfold. Along the way, their powers appear, the aspects of mind control are a delight and their seductiveness as it matures is wonderful to see.

It would have been interesting to have them go back to the book, possibly read or learn more about being succubi, and how that might have affected them. It’s a shame the story closed before they had horns, tails and wings. and it would seem they would have hooves as well. Still, the end result would have been interesting to see in all of their sefuctive power as fully fledged succubi.

Four out of five pitchforks.

How things come to a close offers quite a lot of story threads to pick up and see where they would go in a follow on story. I’d like to see that, specifically I would like to see the succubus that started this adventure to return and see what she has brought to pass. I wonder what she would think about that, what she would do with the knowledge that she has two succubi indebted to her. It’s a delightful thought to wonder about, perhaps that story will be told someday.
