Plot Summary

In Thalia, the humans have no clue that they are increasingly overrun by Incubi who feed on sexual passions and emotions. The five wealthy, powerful and hedonistic Endurante brothers choose a young, sheltered human girl called Winn for their wife, sensing the innate submissiveness in her. Winn may be poor, but she has a big heart. So what if she is marrying five men? Polyandrous marriages are a course of life in Thalia, where there are so few women. Sensing her husbands’ needs, she has promised to submit to their dominance in their marriage. Today is the first day of their honeymoon. And Winn is nervous. What will it entail? Will Winn’s husbands push her limits? Will they win her heart?

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on March 11, 2018

Winn never expected to find herself at the focus of a group of incubi with one thing on their minds, and that’s her. They control and dominant, the sex is never ending, but for Winn, it’s very much a dream come true.

The work is a very short, what I call a pamphlet, erotic hot flash which has a very strong domination and submission theme wrapped around a group of five incubi brothers and the one woman that captivated them. The story moves very quickly from the start, there’s little time for things to develop before Winn is whisked away to be entangled with each, or a few at a time.

The erotica is a bit adult movie levels of heat, a bit crass and a little too over the top for my liking. That’s not to say it doesn’t fit the personalities of the characters however, as it does so. It’s more that Winn just keeps getting taken constantly and it becomes less interesting as the story continues.

The five incubi are, for the most part, rather stereotypically dominant, they are only really thinking about the sex with Winn and otherwise there’s just not enough personality in each to define them better. They are all incubi, that’s not in question, it’s more wondering what else is going on in their thoughts beyond the sex and what that could become if it was allowed to come to the fore.

Two and a half out of five pitchforks.

Being that the story is so very much focused on the incubi having their way with Winn it becomes mostly about that. It’s the little fragments of the world they exist in that I wonder about, really wanted to see more of. Perhaps in the next book that will happen, but being these are hot flashes, I really don’t expect it and that’s a shame.
