Winter comes rarely to Atlanta and a storm that covers the city and faces everyone to stay home is even more rare. But that’s not a problem for Jeremy, but it is for his succubus mother. She needs to feed, she’s running out of time, and Jeremy is the only choice she has. Perhaps it’s time for the truth to come out and for both of them to reveal it to each other.
The work is a very short, what I call a pamphlet, hot erotic flash with a succubus theme wrapped around a bit of incest erotica. The story moves very quickly, the conflict within Jeremy’s mother comes to the surface and both need to deal with her nature, her needs, and Jeremy’s own truth about her. What follows is very much a succubus seduction and the entanglement that follows, which has some heat in it, but might have been better with a little more seductiveness and manipulation on Jeremy’s mother’s part.
Jeremy’s mother, the succumbs of the work, isn’t evil by any means. She is a succubus, she needs sex to survive and that works well in the story. I do like the effect her powers have, the explanation of them, and what that means to Jeremy. Being, more or less, under her control makes things interesting by far.
I really wish that Jeremy’s mother would have been given a name. It always bothers me when that happens. It’s also a shame that her being a succubus wasn’t explored more as well. Yes there’s a bit told about her form as a succubus, and she needs a tail as well. Beyond that, as Jeremy is her son, why isn’t he an incubus? That seems to be a logical place to take things, and if so, that’s a story that really needs to be explored as well.

The work ends in a place that offered places to take the characters and it’s a shame that didn’t happen. More so, a bit of an epilogue to tell of what came afterwards would have been really nice to close some of Jeremy’s feelings about his mother and what the future he offered her meant. A lot of questions not answered which could have added to the story and made it less of the pamphlet it is.
