Plot Summary

One hundred and sixty-eight cycles have passed since the death of The Temptress, Queen of the Succubae: a race of demonic creatures, born of the sin of lust. Once a feared race within the Kingdom of Shalark, able to walk freely throughout the streets without fear of persecution. Now they are reduced to walking in the shadows, hiding their identities from the citizens. Three of them, Caleb, Aleron, and Lexi are different from the rest of their family in ways they do not yet understand. Discovering a rising race of terrible creatures of the shadows with a mission to eradicate the succubae for good, they race against the clock. Caleb however, has a chance to find his blood family and will not give up this opportunity to learn of his lineage. Aleron and Lexi return to the Council of Elders to report this group as a threat to their race and is sent on a mission to retrieve an artifact which will protect their home from attack. Both race against the clock to achieve their ultimate goal. However, their journeys are rot with danger and obstacles meant to test them and possibly rip their relationship apart. The only hope for their survival may be in their close friendship.
