Plot Summary

The dread Arachne Silvia is a monster girl with few equals, possessing the torso of a human and the lower body of an enormous spider. Fresh from having unbirthed the relic hunter Beatrice, she has never felt better; after all these long years she finally has a companion! But a question still troubles her. Does Beatrice love her for who she is, or does she simply view her as a means to achieve vengeance against those who harmed her former family? Uncertain, Silvia hatches a plan that she hopes will guarantee Beatrice's affections, meeting a familiar face along the way...

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on January 25, 2022

Silvia is a monster girl in search of companionship. She hopes to have found all she desires in Beatrice, but questions remain and to find the answers will require a quest with, hopefully, the ending she desires to be.

The work is mainly a fantasy adventure with some rather unique characters with even more unique fetishes and erotica that creates something unexpected by the climax of the work.

Kel’anor, the succubus of the work, appears in a minor role, but she’s quite a lot of fun and turns out to be more than I expected she’d be from the beginning. It’s a shame she isn’t present in much of the work, but what there is of her I enjoyed.

It’s not a succubus story by any means, Kel’anor is a stopping point in the work and isn’t really there for very long. As something of a Dungeons and Dragons story mixed with some different fetishes that make for an interesting story as a whole. It’s just not really a succubus story at heart.

Three out of five pitchforks.

It’s an interesting story with a lot of world building and character development that I thought worked well. Perhaps Kel’anor night return in some future work by this author which would be nice to see.
