Plot Summary

Grief makes men vulnerable.

Allen Tevis returned home a year after his fiancée’s tragic death with nothing left inside him but memory and need. He isn’t looking for love. He isn’t looking for healing.

He’s looking to feel something.

Then he meets Lily.

Quiet. Freckled. Strange. Intensely drawn to broken men.

With her, pleasure is immediate. Addictive. All-consuming. In her arms, Allen’s grief fades beneath relentless desire. She gives him exactly what he craves—comfort, surrender, obsession—and a connection so powerful it begins to replace reality itself.

But Lily is not simply a woman with a dark appetite.

Across Europe, men have been left hollow after encounters with a red-haired stranger. Drained. Catatonic. Lost. An ex-priest tracking ancient lore believes she is something older than sin—a succubus who feeds on sorrow and transforms lust into power.

Allen doesn’t care what she is.

As long as she keeps coming back to his bed.

As long as she keeps choosing him.
