Continuing on from the prior work, the focus is on Desiree and her husband seeking answers from a voodoo priest about what’s going on with her. The work is a long single scene of erotica that progressively becomes more over the top and by the end really didn’t hold a lot of heat.

There’s nothing in this part of the series that comes close to a succubus theme save for one or two proclamations that Desiree is one. The idea of a Lilith curse is interesting, but that again is a small note and then passed over. Still, I find myself wondering where the story goes and if there’s more to it than just the sex scenes.

Two out of five pitchforks.

More of an interlude between events, if giving the smallest note towards turning the story towards what I hope will become interesting world building. Given what the ending suggests, to explore why things came to be as they are should be more of a focus than what’s been so far. At some point either Desiree actually is a succubus or she isn’t.

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on October 6, 2023

Desiree needs to find answers, if not for her sake than for her husband. Seeing a voodoo priest seems like there might be an answer. The problem is the succubus that dwells within her and well may be her doom.

Continuing on from the prior work, the focus is on Desiree and her husband seeking answers from a voodoo priest about what’s going on with her. While there is some plot reveals that come with that encounter, it’s not the focus.
