Plot Summary
Lho Allanar, theocracy of love, refuses to listen to its goddess. Venviel, a wealthy elf, and a non-believer, fears the influence of the priestesses for good reason. Hope, the orphan labeled monster, serves as a disciple at the temple. They stand on opposite sides of the society that Furore resurrected, but they're undeniably drawn to each other, as if governed by fate. After a horrible fire claims her old life, Venviel dons a mask to enact revenge on those who did her wrong. Despite her best intentions, Hope has become an unwitting accomplice and must accept some of the blame. Will Venviel claim Hope's life, or will an offer to break her heart suffice as recompense?
