The only point to this part of the series was the orgy, otherwise there really wasn’t much else that happened. The close offers an interesting path to take, but again with how the series has carried on, I’m expecting very little. The battle won, Carl has to celebrate with his harem and enjoy the moment as best can be. But is it really a victory or some misdirection before the real threat comes to the fore. Carl might have all he wants, but someone else still wants Jessica.
Set soon after the prior work in the series, the focus in on yet another orgy, which brings in some of the new characters from the prior work. There’s really nothing else that the main characters or those close to them are concerned with and so the story gets caught in describing the sexual escapades in some very over the top scenes.
Once more Jessica, the succubus of the series, is something like window dressing, she delights in what Carl is doing and has her way with the rest of the harem as well. But once more she’s really not that much of a succubus beyond the sex and it’s a shame. Her plot threads are still not taken anywhere and honestly could have been with a couple of pages more reflection on her by the looming threat that is approaching them all.
One out of five pitchforks.
The only point to this part of the series was the orgy, otherwise there really wasn’t much else that happened. The close offers an interesting path to take, but again with how the series has carried on, I’m expecting very little. It’s the problem here above all else, there’s concepts and plots which get touched on briefly, but just don’t go anywhere. They really need to before the series ends.
