Azrael, the succubus of the work, isn’t quite stereotypical, though she plays on the edges of being so here and there. There is a good deal of mystery about her, a hint of her being, possibly, a newly formed succubus is intriguing and really needs to be explored. The thing is, there’s nothing told from her perspective and so it leaves a lot to wonder about. The questions about her do interest me and I hope she turns out to be something more than just a creature of sex bent on destruction as that would be a waste of her character.

Four out of five pitchforks.

The work ends on a note that follows I’m sure into the next book in the series. With that said, Azrael is very much an enigma that needs a bit of exploration beyond just her sexual and seductive nature. Hopefully that will come out as things progress and make this a far more interesting work than just being a hot flash of erotica with a bit of succubus theme around the edges.

Plot Summary

Danielle is just your average middle-aged wife and mother until she meets Azrael, the sultry succubus hitchhiking along a rainy stretch of the highway.

'Succubae aren't real!' That's what Danielle thought too, at first, but now as this mysterious hitchhiker uses her powers on this curvy, mature mother, she's finding it increasingly difficult to deny the truth. Danielle is definitely not a lesbian, but why is this younger woman turning her on so much?

A new world is opened up to Danielle in this fatefull car ride. Now her life will change forever, for better or worse...

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on April 27, 2025

There is always a risk when picking up hitchhikers and Danielle couldn’t know that Azrael was more than she seemed. But then succubi aren’t what they appear to be and when Danielle becomes the focus of Azreal’s attention, she will never be the same again.

The work is a short lesbian hot flash with a very strong succubus seduction and domination theme as the story is told. There’s a bit of character development at the beginning, a little hint of Azrael’s nature comes out as well. There’s also a hint of mind control towards the close to be found. However, the main focus on the story is Azreal seducing and then dominating Danielle with all else being secondary to the telling of Danielle losing herself to the power held over her and falling to Azrael entirely.
