Plot Summary
Finding a lost ghoul was the easy part.
After facing down rampaging zombies, unstoppable killers, and a semi-official government organization while rescuing a newly-turned ghoul, troubleshooter Whiskey Joe wants nothing more than a week’s sleep and several large meals. But Joe, his succubus partner Gloria, and their new sidekick Steve the ghoul aren’t going to be so lucky.
Steve’s an entirely new breed of ghoul, and Joe needs to find out why before rogue CDC agents can get to him. Joe’s short on options, so he’s planning to steal from a powerful magician to pay an undead information broker to find out where to go to learn more. That’s assuming that Slater, a half-psychotic werewolf enforcer, doesn’t decide to take Joe down first.
