Plot Summary
Professor Pennyworth travels to the unusual town of Edelweiss, North Carolina, located high, in the remote peaks of the Appalachian mountains. Summoned at the behest of a curious inventor, by the name of Samuel Power. A set of familiar enemies return, as well as a collection of spectral anomalies or Ghosts.
O’Malley is distracted by a clouded mind, and unusual pain in her abdomen, which afflicts her constantly. As well as demonstrating a curious fascination with a satanic emblem, of which she is completely enthralled. This entanglement, is a remnant from a demonic entity. Which concerns the Professor, who worries for her body and spirit, as O’Malley plays with this evil fetish.
It is up to the Professor once again to discern what is going on in a haunted mansion, and in town of Edelweiss, which has signs of an active Cult. He must decipher the origin of these Ghosts, which reside in a realm called the Netherworld.
