Plot Summary

After meeting the succubus Meridiana, Tristan's vacation has taken a turn for the amazing. Transformed into a rugged, masculine hunk of a man, he's had no trouble luring plenty of women back to his room for private fun. But when you're this good, girls can tend to get a little loud. Now, the beautiful Hawaiin owner of the hotel has come to kick him out.

Unless she decides to join in on the fun instead.

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on June 16, 2020

Thanks to Meridiana, Tristan is getting everything, and everyone, he desires. But he’s also getting too mach attention and that could turn badly for him. But Meridiana doesn’t quite realize what she has unleashed and she might well be the next to be wearing one.

The work turns fully towards being about Tristan building a harem, those that he has taken so far, and the corruption of someone new. Meridiana is still very much the means to an end and in being so she gets pushed to the side for much of the story, becoming a spectator to Tristan’s control. There are strong mind-control and transformation aspects to the erotica, the succubus aspects are barely in the story however.

The transformation scene has a good deal of heat and leads into the main erotic scene well. While Meridiana carried this part of the story, things change suddenly and she’s somewhat locked out of Tristan and his plans. What follows is a sexual battle between Meridiana and Tristan that was, overall, really disappointing.

The sexual battle felt far too rushed, there’s no real fight described, save from Tristan’s point of view which seems to play down the entire thing. The heat in the battle erotically was reasonably well done, but not in a succubus erotica way. It’s mainly focused on Tristan dominating Meridiana and then the battle ends.

Its really a shame because Meridiana had a scheme and it would have been good to see it unfold, Tristan having to fight his way from her control and overcome her. That could have taken up one or two books on its own. But with how things played out, that will never happen and what’s left becomes a vaguely interesting harem story with a once evil succubus now fawning over her Master. It’s the story that could have been told here that’s so disappointing instead of the blink and you’ll miss it capitulation.

Two out of five pitchforks.

While Meridiana is part of the story, it’s really not a succubus story overall. It’s very male dominant, the tables are turned and Tristian builds his harem. All this happened far too quickly and I wish that didn’t happen. A lot of plot and character development seems to be lost and I don’t think it needed to be. We’ll see what the concluding part of the series brings, but that seems far too obvious given the story so far.
