Plot Summary

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on May 14, 2019

Nonne has but one purpose, to punish without mercy those that do not heed. Is that a purpose, or her delight, may become the question she cannot answer, or care to.

The work is a very short, what I call a pamphlet, mixture of horror, BDSM, torture and female domination wrapped around the main character who is acting as the devil’s succubus. It’s a bit rushed, the story can’t quite find itself really, which is a shame. In the confusion comes some odd dialogue and some aspects of domination that really don’t appear often.

Nonne. the succubus of the work, isn’t quite a succubus so much as she is a weapon of revenge upon those who are deserving of it. She’s quite harsh, single-minded and overall isn’t seductive so much as she overcomes others, abuses them, and then sends them to their waiting fate. As such, the story never really takes her to be a succubus, to appear with horns or tail, and simply has her be evil with a purpose at least.

Two out of five pitchforks.

It’s such a very odd story overall, there’s really nothing in the way of a succubus theme save for the main character being described as being one. Still, the overall arc feels like there is a purpose and I hope that it will be more focused on telling the story in a clearer tone.
