Plot Summary

Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on March 25, 2018
Queen Tavra desires to create something unforgettable, but it cannot be done. At least in the normal way of things. But a sorcerer offers a means, if she is willing to risk more than she knows. Brought in the presence of Xera, everything changes, all her desires are made moot for the love of a demoness and all she offers.
The work is an erotic fantasy hot flash with succubus, futa, domination and submission themes wrapped around the storytelling. Very sensually written, the characters are drawn to each other and what follows is passion and desires unleashed and a need discovered that comes fully to both.
The erotica is a slow burn with a really well done climax at the close that offered something a bit unexpected as well. There is a strong emphasis on the futa theme, of course, but that’s really secondary to the world building which is just amazing. The story constructs both the characters and the world around them to a purpose and by the end of the story, that is so very well fulfilled.
Xera, the succubus of the story, isn’t evil, she’s a temptress and seduction given form more than anything else. She draws Queen Tavra into her orbit with promise of something more, something beyond her expections and then enamours her. Xera is a futa of course, and that aspect of her is sensual as well, it’s not jarring or seems out of place. It’s her nature, Queen Tavra is attracted to that, and what follows is their entanglement that I really did like a lot.
Four out of five pitchforks.
More than anything else, it was the world building here that delighted me. It’s so very well done and offers so much promise as a result. How the story ends really needed a following work, to show what came next and what Queen Tavra and Xera’s relationship would become. There’s a lot left dangling to explore and it really have been really nice to see.
