Plot Summary

Reyn Callan has hidden her vivacity for years. Finally free of puritanical Moial, she becomes an accomplished flirt. But her popularity might owe more to succubus magic than her personality. While she struggles to understand who she is and what she can do, the last thing Reyn needs is to spend any more time with the one lord unimpressed by her charms.

Velario Ferrini would forgo social events altogether if he didn’t need to maintain the impression that nothing is wrong at the banks he manages. He certainly wants nothing to do with empty-headed flirts like Lady Reyn. But if he wants to prove himself and show that he deserves to be his father’s heir and the next King of Lhanaperi, Velario cannot let anyone suspect there might be trouble. Reyn just might be the solution to all his problems. To protect Lhanaperi’s economy, Velario must pretend to court the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen.
