Plot
Short Summary
The Ash reveals to Lauren that the old Ash cursed Nadia in order to have Lauren find the cure the Fae needed at that time. He also reveals that he knows which Shaman set the curse, but refuses any of her requests to find him and she is returned to the lab to continue the research he wishes her to do. Kenzi plans a surprise birthday party for Bo, but the Ash calls Bo to a meeting and tells her where the Dark Fae Shaman they are seeking is located, and sends her away to lift the curse. Bo is transported to where the Shaman is and discovers him and a large block of wood with hundreds of cursing nails in it. He reveals that the former Ash paid him handsomely for the curse on Nadia, but will only remove the nail if Bo completes a quest for him. He sends Bo on a search for a healing mask that he requires to save his life, and if she returns with it, then he will give her the means to remove the nail. Kenzi, as she prepares for the party, meets an old boyfriend that is part of a band, and she finds herself falling in love with him again. Dyson reveals to Trick that Ciara is looking for a house for them to live in, but he tells Trick that he isn't sure what he wants, or who he wants. Bo asks a favour of Trick, and he gives her something valuable to trade for the mask the Shaman wants, and Dyson leaves with Bo to find the mask. They meet with the Fae that holds the mask, and after making the trade and completing a test, they leave with the mask. Bo then returns to the Dark Fae Shaman and saves his life and then she removes the nail, thus releasing Nadia from the curse. But she also destroys the means for the Shaman to curse others as well. When Bo returns to Lauren, she finds her and Nadia together and leaves them to return home. She walks into the surprise birthday party Kenzi has been planning and receives gifts from her friends, but also one that comes from someone that no one knows. In return for Nadia being freed from her curse, which Lauren thinks was the Ash's doing, Lauren returns herself to the Ash's control and pledges herself to him once more.
